1:00 – 2:30: Kirtan with Rasa Lila
$15 (Children under 12 welcome free)
Join us for a very special opportunity to enjoy Rasa Lila, a local and much beloved Kirtan group, for an afternoon of sacred sound. Kirtan is a form of devotional call-and-response chanting whose roots go back over 500 years to India. The beautiful chanting is accompanied by musical instruments and rhythmic drumming and the audience is encouraged to participate fully. In its heartfelt expression, kirtan can induce profound states of meditation, bliss and ecstasy, opening the heart, and building a deep connection to oneself, others, and the Divine. Not to be missed!
7:00: Old...New...Borrowed & Blues Concert
$25 for adults, $15 for seniors and students
Music presented by the very talented Steve Palmieri, Don Schoonover and Friends to promote peace, love and harmony. Join us for a joyful evening of songs familiar to and loved by one and all. Be prepared to be entertained!
